“Slippers for Hannah” is a sweet story to teach friendship, love, and how to work together while solving a problem.
Slippers for Hannah
When trouble arises in the barnyard Hannah’s friends work together to help her solve a problem.
This story takes place in the heart of Idaho. My animals are always doing fun crazy things. They gave me the idea for this book. Hannah is a cute little chicken that I had in my barnyard. She lived there with all of her barnyard friends. Hannah and her friends love to play. They spend their day running and jumping and playing.
Filled with fun entertaining pictures
The pictures and names are of the animals on my farm. I couldn’t see them as cartoons because I feed them every day, they are real animals, so this is why I used pictures of my furry friends.
The story encourages conversation and it is so fun to hear how the child you are reading to would solve the problem and help Hannah. I really enjoy the laughter on the last picture of the book. It is the actual picture.
About the Author
This book was written by me, Brenda Anderson. This story was inspired by my animals. One day I came home from church and found my animals, as usual, being goofy. But something was just a little unusual on this particular day. I grabbed my camera as I usually do and started to take pictures.
After taking a lot of pictures I returned to the house chuckling over their goofiness. A few days later when I put my pictures on the computer I laughed again. This is when the story started to build in my head. It was on this day the “Slippers for Hannah” story came to life.
