Will you serve us breakfast in bed? While most parts of the country are now warming up and the snow is melting. We are still covered in a good 10 inches of snow. Don’t get me wrong I am not complaining. We have been in a drought over the last few years so this is a blessing for our valley and our farm.
Meet my goats
Meet EmmyLou, Ginger, and Zoe. Yes there are actually 3 goats snuggled in the shed. It was -2 degrees below zero when I went out to do chores. These three girls remained snuggled in their shed. No one was in any hurry to get up and go out in the cold. They just laid there in the shed hoping I would bring them breakfast in bed.
Yes they are spoiled
I have to admit they are somewhat spoiled, and yes I have been known to cater to them on more than one occasion. But this morning they needed to get up and move around.
By the time I finished the rest of the chores these Nanny’s were up and eating at the feeder. They ate for a while and just as they normally do, when they finished eating they went back into the sheds to relax.
Babies coming the first of May
All 3 of these girls are pregnant and will start to kid somewhere around the first of May. Stay tuned for more pictures.
I hope you enjoyed this post about my animals. Stay tuned for more, maybe join my email list so you won’t miss out on a thing.
